Dott.ssa Fabiola Portoso

Born in 1983 in Novara (Italy), in 2001 Fabiola enrolled in the Faculty of Economics of the University of Milano-Bicocca.
In 2003 she won a grant in the Erasmus Programme study that allowed her to spend a year at University of Geneva (Switzerland) and afterwards she graduated with a Bachelor degree magna cum laude in Economics, Statistics and Informatics from University of Milano-Bicocca.
Then Fabiola started her Master studies in Business Administration at University of Turin; along with her academic career she gained practical experiences by spending one-year internship program at Borsa Italiana in Milan where she was finally hired in March 2007, right after getting the Master degree with Thesis of Distinction from the Faculty of Economics, University of Torino.
Later on, Borsa Italiana merged with the London Stock Exchange (LSE Group) and Fabiola had the chance to spend most of her time in London and enhance her ability to adapt to new multicultural environments by working in the Real Time Data Division of LSE where she was in charge of managing and developing relationships with Information Vendors and wholesale Investment Banks.
In 2009 Fabiola decided to pursue her studies with the MBA programme of SAFM (Scuola di Alta Formazione al Management) – CDI Italia and she is currently performing her mission as an Investment Analyst at Exor, one of Europe’s leading investment companies and the majority shareholder of the Fiat Group.
Due to her international work experience and studies, nowadays Fabiola speaks fluently English, French and Spanish. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, travelling, and doing outdoors sports, especially running.
Nata nel 1983 a Novara (Italia), Fabiola si è iscritta nel 2001 alla Facoltà di Economia dell'Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca. Nel 2003 ha conseguito una borsa di studio per il Programma Erasmus che le ha permesso di frequentare per un anno l'Università di Ginevra (Svizzera) e al termine di questa esperienza si è laureata con il massimo dei voti e lode in Economia, Statistica e Informatica.
Nel 2004 Fabiola si è iscritta alla Laurea Specialistica in Business Administration presso l'Università degli Studi Torino e parallelamente ha effettuato uno stage presso Borsa Italiana, a Milano, dove è stata infine assunta nel marzo del 2007, subito dopo aver conseguito la Laurea con votazione di 110/110, lode e menzione alla Tesi.
A seguito della fusione tra Borsa Italiana e il London Stock Exchange (LSE Group), Fabiola ha potuto trascorrere gran parte del proprio tempo a Londra e affinare ulteriormente la propria capacità di adattamento a nuovi ambienti multiculturali lavorando presso la divisione Real Time Data dell'LSE Group, dove si occupava di gestire e sviluppare le relazioni con clienti istituzionali (in particolare con i principali operatori presenti nei settori dell’Informazione economico-finanziaria, dell’Investment Management e dell’Investment Banking).
Nel 2009 Fabiola ha deciso di proseguire gli studi grazie all'MBA organizzato dalla SAFM (Scuola di Alta Formazione al Management) - CDI Italia e attualmente sta svolgendo la propria mission come Investment Analyst presso Exor, una delle principali società di investimento europee, nonché il maggiore azionista del Gruppo Fiat.
Grazie alle esperienze accademiche e lavorative in ambito internazionale, Fabiola parla correntemente Inglese, Francese e Spagnolo.
Nel tempo libero, le piace dedicarsi alla cucina, ai viaggi e agli sport all'aria aperta, con una predilezione per la corsa.
